The parent/teen relationship is something that takes intentionality, time, and energy to really develop into something lasting. Join us for a weekend packed with team-building, worship, conversation starters, and teaching sessions to help grow your connection with your teen. You can expect all the charm of camping (bonfires, canoes), but not as rustic in regard to your comfort. Camp Refuge offers an elevated camping experience in our glamping tents and in our country, homestyle cooking.
**We ask that ALL guests leave their phones/electronic devices in their car or at home. This allows for disconnection from the things that pull and grab for our attention. Don’t worry! Our photographer will be capturing all the highlights of your time at Camp Refuge.
Cost: $325/guest pair. Registration includes all meals and sleeping accommodations.
Location: Camp Refuge's new home in beautiful Breaux Bridge, LA
Day-to-day routine often has us running around chasing tasks rather than focusing on meaningful connection with our family. Choosing to disconnect from work, responsibilites, hobbies, and friends to focus on your relationship with your teen speaks volumes to them in regard to their worth. It’s says, “I choose you.” “You are more important than anything else."
The goal for your time here at Camp Refuge is to deepen your relationship with your teen. Intentionally setting time aside for your relationship creates a safe place for your teen to speak . . . to give you a window into their world. You might be surprised what they share.
Our Launching Arrows retreat is intended to help guide parents/teens as they launch into a new season of life. Our hope is that you will leave with a roadmap that prepares your teen for what’s ahead.
The entire goal of this retreat weekend is to provide an atmosphere where you and your teen can really learn to listen to each other and leave more connected than you were when you first arrived. The wooded property where the retreat is hosted is a perfect getaway for you and your teen to disconnect from the outside world - won’t you join us?
